TAYLOR WIMPEY CONSULTATION FOR 180 NEW HOUSES IN ROMANBY

Hello everyone,

We have just (in the last hour) been made aware (from a parishioner) of a proposal/consultation from house builder Taylor Wimpey for 180 new houses in Romanby behind the OakTree Drive estate (accessed from Boroughbridge Road (South of OakTree roundabout).

The flyer that has been sent out (unclear as to which houses/residents) is shown below.

There is a QR code for more info.

We have no other info and I presume we (RPC) will be consulted at some stage.

This probably all links into the developing Local Plan that NYC are working on (at the “Call for Sites” stage and this is one of those sites!!)

We will keep residents informed , as we always try to do, as and when we find out/get more info.
