ROMANBY PARISH COUNCIL WILL SOON BE HIRING!!

Following a detailed staffing review, we will soon be advertising for a new part-time employment position on Romanby Parish Council.  The new part-time position is Public Open Spaces Supervisor (POSS), and we will be looking to employ someone from later in the year for 8 hours per week.    This message provides some advance notice with some outline details of what we will be advertising for.

The Romanby Parish Council POSS will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight, management and maintenance of our designated public open spaces within the Romanby Parish area.  We have some 14 designated open spaces, 7 of which have play equipment, and the POSS will be responsible for a rolling inspecting programme of our facilities and play equipment for damage or wear and tear on a monthly basis and reporting any issues, as well as litter-picking/collection at our open space areas.   In addition, the POSS would be able to interact with park and open space users to address concerns, provide information, and promote responsible use of the spaces.
