PROPOSED RESIDENTIAL/CARE HOME DEVELOPMENT – Old Central Depot Cricket Club Site - Developer Application Re-submission

Hello again everyone,

A lot of Romanby residents are now fully aware of a proposed planning application (from Lovell Homes) that has now been formally re-submitted for a proposed 50-dwelling (was 55) and 73-bed care home development on the old Cricket Club/Arla land, Ainderby Road.

The developer has made a string of changes to the application based on comments from its first application from Highways, National Rail and ecology/aboreculturalist specialists.

Once again, we have strongly encouraged residents to respond to the planning application - the application reference on the North Yorkshire Council (NYC) Planning Portal is ZB25/01064/FUL; we have also been asked (as statutory consultees) to comment again on this proposal.
