EXTENSION TO TIME FOR RESIDENTS TO COMMENT TO NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNCIL(NYC) ON THE PROPOSED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT – Old Central Depot Cricket Club Site

Consultation response deadline to NYC – AMENDED - latest deadline now 22 July 2025

Hello Everyone,

Further to our earlier posts on this planning application, we can confirm that due to the time lag between NYC consultation letters being sent out and the NYC ‘green’ site notice being erected adjacent to the site (1 July 2025) NYC are required to allow us all 21 days response time from that date - so the 10 July deadline for residents to comment on the planning application is now extended to the 22nd July 2025.

This is not the first time that a developer has looked to build on this land, and we strongly encourage residents to respond to the planning application - the application reference on the NYC Planning Portal is ZB25/01064/FUL.
