Romanby Parish Precept (Council Tax) for 2019-20
Residents will be receiving their Council Tax Bills for the coming year (mine plopped through the letter box today), and as you can see, we (Romanby Parish Council) have asked for a 3.8% increase to approx £26.20 for the year for each household (about £2.18 per month). This provides us with approximately £62K for the year to do all that we do for our great Parish.
We hope you agree that this is good value for money for the services that the Parish Council provide - grass-cutting, hedge cutting, play-parks, gardens and open spaces and so much more - especially this last year with our 1st July Re-Dedication & Picnic In The Park day, and Beacon event in November.
Our Annual Public Meeting next month on the 9th April provides an opportunity for residents to hear about what we have done in the last year, and how we use your money to try and keep Romanby in good shape - please come along if you can!
We also publish our accounts each year, and the next set will be available in the summer, once they have been audited.
As always, we are happy to take questions and comments, here, by email, or in person.
